Down loads

I have 10 Munchkins out in the field, when I do the annual maintenance on them I always have trouble down loading the fault history onto my lap top. I can enter the program and read it but I just can't seem to down load it. I guess I do not understand the process on how to. Can anybody help with a step by step?
My second question would be about the cleaning process. I spray the CDL cleaner on the coils and scrub with a nylon brush and rinse. Should I fire the boiler after I spray then clean or do what I am doing?
Thanks.

#1 i use the fault history only to see how the boiler has run over the last year. and to see what faults have happend, this tells me what might be wrong then i clear all the faults. the total history will stay
#2 Keep cleaning the way you are

HTP Service software allows you to retrieve fault history from a control or review a saved file from a previous unit, downloading history from control will require boiler to be in a idle state (no demand I;E central heating or domestic hot water) or in a fault code. with software open select fault history, select read from controller, this should only take a few seconds for download to complete.
Fault history can also be saved for future reference by clicking on "save file", you will see small box appear with file extension .ser in lower left corner, simply insert file name before file extension and click ok, file will be saved.
