That is why there are so many of them in comparison. Our thermal solar collectors produce approximately 1,000 BTUs per sq. ft. per day. One SS-40-FP-U* serial solar thermal collector can produce 41,000 BTUs daily!

High Quality
The solar flat plate collectors are manufactured with laser welding to enhance performance and aesthetics. Laser welding of the absorber tubes ensures a very high mechanical bond to withstand the high temperature gradients and thermal expansion. These collectors are made with the highest absorptive coating in the industry, a vapor deposition coating. Architectural aluminum angles inside the collector include special pin grip rivets to insure high stability. No silicon is used on the collectors. Ribbed aluminum extrusions and a smooth compressed EPDM gasket provide water tightness. This allows easy access to the collector for repair or maintenance at any time or location. Glass gaskets on the unit ensures a long life and avoids all water penetration! It is also equipped with a universal mounting frame. This variable Quick Lock mounting hardware reduces mounting time and makes it simple for anyone to install. Mounting possibilities include: pitched-roof, flatroof, ground, balcony, and façade mounting.
Our fin, tube and header are made from 100% copper, eliminating the concerns of dissimilar metals with different expansions and contraction rates, which shorten collector life and performance. Our absorber fins are coated with ‘crystal clear’ selective surface coating with a permanent protective glass layer serving multiple functions, including anti-reflection, anti-corrosion, and durability.
