Solar Storage Tank
The Large Volume Solar Tanks allow you to achieve cost efficient solar storage in an ASME rated storage vessel. Efficient heat exchange can be achieved through the immersed coil heat exhangers or through the use of external plate frame heat exhangers. Multiple coils are available per tank. These tanks are glass lined for high temperatures and are available with optional spray on top coat insulation or with an insultated steel jacket on certain models. The large volume solar tanks come standard up to 1,000 gallon models with larger models up to 5000 gallons available.

High Quality Material for a Better Heating Experience
The Large Volume Solar Tanks are constructed out of carbon steel and are glass lined for high temperature hot water and longevity. The top coat offers a R-16 insulation value. Tanks are also available with insulation and steel jacket.
All tanks are constructed and certified in accordance with ASME IV, Part HLW for 125 PSI (862 kPA).
The Solar Benefit
With the Large Volume Solar Tanks, you can position solar panels for the morning and afternoon sun. These tanks allow for more zoning and piping options. Multiple coils provide you the capability to double your input using two or more coils with faster recovery time. More gallons are available for larger commercial projects.
Versatile Range
The Large Volume Solar Tanks are available in tank sizes up to 1,000 gallons. Heat transfer ratings reach up to 74,666 btu/hr/coil (based on 100° incoming water temperature from solar panels). Multiple coils are available per tank – coil sizes are 7” in diameter and 21” in diameter. For current list of models, please view our brochure.
Advanced Assurance
The Large Volume Solar Tanks come with a limited five year warranty. A limited ten year warranty option on steel tank with double glass lining is available. Double glass lining is not an inventory item, but built upon request.
